Hello all,
This show is listed in the grids at the Southport Music Hall. Was wondering if anyone has any information on the show, is this a private party? This is my birthday and I would love to start the night out with a little fishhead music. Thanks for your help.

Sign up for the Rads e-mail list Heatgen and watch for the announcement.

There should be internet ticket sales. I haven't been in a few years. When it was at Tip's it was a smoking three-set show with rare songs and usually some new lyrics to reflect the theme. It's one of the most anticipated Radiators shows of the year, but be prepared for some sticker shock--I think it was $65 the last time I went ('03?).
A tip: if you go, stay to the very end, then hang around out front and watch for the poster guy. They print up a special SNAFU poster and hand them out, one per customer.

Hey Now The Rads SNAFU show is always a highlite of Fest. If you are a Fishhead, its not to be missed!!! The Southport is a great place for the show as well. It has alot more space than Tipitinas (which is where SNAFU has usually been held) and the the adult beverages are budget priced!!! I'll look forward to meeting up at the show in May. Matthew

SNAFU was traditionally a advance sale semi private event at Tips however now at Southport there seems to be more than enuf room for all the fishies to swim on in...last year I just got my ticket at the door....great show special guests etc...as for me my personal preference for fave Rads show during fest is the accoustic show....just for something a little different

.
There's no ticket purchase link on the venue site, I would love to attend this show if possible.

Southport generally does tix at the door only. you could give 'em a call to double check - but they're a laid back venue and I can't imagine that internet ticket sales are the way they want to go - too much trouble and adds cost - which they don't want to do. Tix to shows there are usually very, very reasonable.

When SNAFU was at Tip's it was run like a private party with ticket sales independent of the venue. Looks like the same at Southport:

Note that the April 27 and May 2 Rads shows have a Jambase ticket link, but the May 3 listing says 'SNAFU Party' and no ticket purchase link. Like I said in an earlier post, there should be an announcement on the Radiators e-mail list with ticket info.

and with that, I just picked up 4 for the show at Tips the following night, May 4th
I'd rather have tix in hand.

Hey Now Mcgregor, the Tips show after SNAFU is always awsome. Usually a little more room to boogie,(SNAFU can get really crowded) and the band is already runnin' strong from the night before. I will see you there!

No doubt, $25 is more along my lines of thinking anyways as opposed to the $65 someone mentioned earlier in this thread.
I haven't seen the Radiators in year, very excited.
Yangety!
