Zig Modeliste and a very tight band played a great show at Pier 23 in San Francisco on Friday night, partly to promote his new pro-Obama single.
He had flyers for a "Birthday Bash" at Cafe Du Nord in the city on December 27. The Rads are in town at the same venue for the following four nights, including NYE. Woohoo!!

zig always gets the house shakin'...great show, old home night with all the pier 23/last day saloon friends there...how come we haven't hooked up yet?...don't know any doug&sharrons that i know of...hmmmmmmmmmmm...i'll be at the dunord show for sure...maybe then? maybe ruthie foster at yoshi's 11/3? or galactic 11/14 and 11/15?

Just saw this. BUMMER!! I work just across Levi Plaza from Pier 23 and completely missed this. Mr. Oblivious strikes again...
Any Pier 23 fans remember Jack Jive Schaffer and His Rhythm Rascals??
