Need Volunteers for WWOZ at Voodoo!!!

Heya, Voodoofesters!

One of my WWOZ friends, Mary Liz Keevers, is the Development Director for the station and has asked my help to find some excellent folks who would be willing to volunteer a couple of hours at Voodoo Fest at the WWOZ booth.

It would be to sell raffle tickets for a 2 hour shift between 11 & 5 for a one-of-a-kind, beautiful, red, Vespa scooter personally signed by NOLA musical artists to help raise some funds for 'OZ!

We were hoping that perhaps some of the Threadhead Nation (and/or your pals) who will be at Voodoo might be willing to help out. You'll get a free day ticket for that day into the Fest and the undying gratitude of WWOZ. :D

Updated Scooter Info: the Vespa has been autographed by musicians such as Randy Newman, Allen Toussaint, Trombone Shorty, Anders Osborne, Tab Benoit, as well as these fine artists . . .

Put me in. I AM GOING no matter what ! ! ! Will be in the tent already so why not. I have a 3day OZ pass so wont need the free day tkt. Dont know anyone going to hang out with yet.
