My wife and I were down this past weekend. We found a great place to live and set up jobs. We had the pleasure of visiting Rosetree studio and meeting Mark and Brenda. We are very excited to meet more of you that are in the area. I vow to be more of a participator than a lurker on this board as well!
We are so excited! Thank you everyone for your help and suggestions, it made everything a lot easier.
Peace

Congrats Jonny. But aren't you going to miss Willington Pizza?

Seriously though, good move. But I have to admit that I love Willimantic Brewery, and used to really appreciate the food co-op too when I lived in the area. Now I only make it back that way for UConn hoops games, but I still make the Willi Brewpub (and the UConn Dairy Bar) part of the trip every time.

Hah! Good call. It is good pizza, but being in the New Haven area I can't really say that I want for quality pizza myself. I also liked Tony's in Willimantic for their meatball pizza when I used to live in the area.

Is the Golden Eagle still in business? Haven't been down that way in a long time, but I recall a few interesting trips to that bar back in the day.

The Eagle is still rocking hard, lots of drunk bikers every weekend.

Congratulations, on making the move!
How exciting! Settling in to a new home & a new city/state, is not easy & usually takes a bit of time until you feel "at home"...but WOW how great is it, that you're already getting invited to parties & making friends with the coolest peeps in Nola?! :D
