Is anyone in NC going to this fest? I was thinking of going on Saturday 18th to see Terrance Simien and Trombone. I have never been, but my Sister went last year and enjoyed it. Let me know if you want to go and meet up. My last taste of Western NC before moving to NOLA!

I am in Winston-Salem. I can't do the Sunday, so I was just going to go up for one day. Email me at Sdavis7@tulane.edu if you decide to go. I would love to meet you if you are going. Sounds like a good day, but I probably won't go too early.
very good. i grabbed your email. you might want to delete off this site...you could get spammed! i'll drop you a line so you'll have my info too! i love Winston Salem. Zeverly house still there? did i spell it right? best pumkin muffins around.
crap. just checked my calendar. i will never ever ever again book anything in October that is not near and dear to my heart again. i have a co-worker wedding on that weekend. that is the biggest weekend around here for art, music and oyster around north carolina. so i could only go Sunday. Wah.

oh my God! i know you're feeling the blues in winston right now with Wachovia...it is like a morgue down town. very scary stuff going on right now. hope you don't have too many loved ones directly affected by the buy-out.

I am more concerned about the rather large deposit I made last Thursday that is still not in my account.....I was blown away by this, as I thought last week they said that Wachovia was sound. My Uncles Wife was a VP for Wachovia for years, but she retired around 2 yrs ago. I am sure some of my family owns some stock though. It is scary! You just wonder, who is next?
