I thought your daughter was a bit too young to have a prom, but having said that, they go a little nuts for my taste about "graduation" from grade school. Being a single parent myself for many eons PC, of course the chicklet is your number one priority. Time flies quickly and before you know it, you'll have complete freedom. And might not want it! One of those "be careful what you wish for" things. A Patry without PC though? :(

First weekend and all daze between. Flying in first Thursday night, flying back 2nd Friday morning. But I may try to add one more day and fly out Saturday morning instead, so I can catch up with all of the 2nd weekend folks. Since there is no 2nd Thursday, I'd have to add a day.

I seldom know when I am going to come. Sometimes it just happens spontaneously and irregardless I seldom plan it too far in advance. Sometimes it just happened last weekend. Sometimes it will happen next weekend. It would just be impossible for me to make that decision so many weekends in advance. Hell, it has happened before on Mondays and on Wednesdays. Come to think about it has happened on just about every day of the week as best I recollect. Course I am kind of old so my memory isn’t what it used to be but I would bet all the days have been covered at one time or another. Most weekends too now that I think about it. Hope this has not confused anyone. Hope that answered the which weekend question. If not, well just let me know and I will try to come up with something else to say about the topic at hand.

Last year was the first time I had done the whole thing in like 15 years. Most years are in and out, in and out.
Don't have anything firm yet except the Patry, I guess it's a luxury to be as flexable as I'm able to be.
I must say that it took me 2 weeks to catch up with work, even though I worked via Internet all day Wednesday and some on Thursday.
I think I made up my mind last year for the whole deal in the last part of Feb.

there's a bunch of us staying at the Sunsuites Metairie. Terry (luvdancin) is flying in from VA, the rest of us drive down. besides Terry and Me & Jim, there's Tom & Drea (you know them), Jack & Wendy (1st only), i think Dancin Donna & Bill are staying there 2nd weekend.
i'm trying to take the stress out of fest and am no longer working as a ticket broker or travel agent. (i have to keep reminding myself - down control freak, down)
so i'm just dealing with arrangements for me & Jim. he will most likely fly back on wednesday 'tween. i'm hoping to split the drive down over wednesday & thursday, but his daughter turns 16 on the 27th (thurs), so not sure when we can leave. he may have to fly both ways.

I love St. Pats in NOLA! My brother used to live in the Irish Channel, a couple of doors down from Parasol's. The walking clubs always came by and stopped for a drink at Parasols, so we got lots of cabbages and other goodies, just sitting out on his front stoop.
