As for myspace,.. I'm not over there... Actually I'm a huge hypocrite in my household as I have banned the use of the site for my daughter (and she is O.K. with that).... She has shown me a glimpse of what some of her classmates have put together and it scares the hell out of me,.. and her ... A good friend is always emailing me music that he discovers and thanks to what I have learned here I use myspace to take a glimpse.... Other than the very cool music aspect,.. like I said,.. the site scares me...

I totally understand...I use it primarily for keeping up with musicians schedules and bulletins. The bulletins are the most useful part of it...for me it is one stop to check out what is happening for about 70 different groups. But the friend requests from XXX sites are annoying, although most of those are deleted before I even see them.

Mich,.. I don't have to deal with any of that because I have never registered... Just use the site to check out new music and listen to that which I like as I work on the ol' puter,.. perfect tool for those purposes...

Me too Mich, love getting the bulletins and knowing what's going on with the musicians. I've actually discovered a lot of cool new music. I don't really get the XXX sites, maybe it's bc I'm listed as "Amy & Jeff" (Jeff is "Jeff & Amy") and my pix has both of us. Maybe they only target apparent singles . . .
