I have been a collector for over 30 years. Can anyone PLEASE give me information regarding the jazz fest promo posters? I am a looking for some specific years.
Does anyone know of a site besides ebay that has collectibles for sale? including jazz fest posters, first day postal cover letters (cachets) etc.??

I AM LOOKING DESPERATELY FOR 1971 AND 1973 PROMOS----- I NEED THE 1999 AND 2000 CACHETS--- I NEED A FEW OF THE MORE RECENT JAZZ FEST PROGRAMS-- I NEED 1993,1994,1995 CONGO SQUARE POSTERS---

Nice pickup on that1971 promo on e-bay! That one was tempting, but not tempting enough to get back to before the auction closed! That and the several others awaiting framing.....:cool:

Hi Blitzzz--thanks for the reply post---do you know of any way to buy the 1971 and 1973 promos. the 1971 I got on e-bay was more like a schedule of events and did not reflect a sponsor. I believe there was a promo with a beer company sponsor?? Also- what do you mean by "the several others awaiting framing"???thanks again--Larry

I keep my eyes out for them, but I pretty much haunt the same places as you, e-bay, craig's, and the collector shows in my area. What I meant was, I have a large backlog of paper ephemera that needs to be framed, properly stored or sold off to someone who will. I should probably take up framing as a sideline.
Not likely anything you don't already have, though, mostly Ann Arbor area stuff and the last few Fest posters. I'll keep my eyes open for you.:cool:
