I wanted to buy one but his teeth were crooked and he had funny hair and wasn't cute enough so for the good of the nation, I bought the latest from (insert Barbie like pop star here) instead.

Nice! :D
Also, according to his blog on myspace a lot of his back catalog is also available. So go out and poppyfy your ipod

And speaking of funny hair, bad teeth and not cute enough, did anyone see Beetle Bob had a letter in the current issue of Offbeat? Seems he MC'd some stages at Bonaroo. Could Jazz Fest be next?

Unfortunately, our music budget has been the Used Bin only for a while :(.

I'm sure it will turn around soon!! :)

i ran into beetle bob at bonnaroo. he asked me where the sonic stage was.
talked to him for a couple of minutes and told him i didn't see him at jazz fest this year. he told me his mom was sick and he had to be with her and that he hated missing JF.

Just downloaded 4 of Paul's solo CDs. I had never seen that Live At Carrollton Station before.

For the most part that's me all of the time. I was being a little tongue-in-cheek. My big splurges are on N.O. cds that I get at JF time. Having a show sorta justifies it. Rather than going out to eat in fancy restaurants while on vacation, I use the money to actually buy new things. I'm fortunate to get a lot of promo cds (mostly blues).

Promos are great. A chunk of our vinyl collection comes from Steve DJ'ing in college.

I think the headlines would read the next day in the T-P, if that happend, "Quint Davis resigns"...or maybe before it happens
