Didn't mean any disrespect Jerry...I read the post and it didn't say that you took the shots, and I had not gone to your site yet, that's why I asked. I'm a little reactive to others taking credit and advantage over artists.
You do some real fine work! Hopefully you will find it in your heart and donate to the raffle and help us get more help to the local musicians. :D

None taken, trust me I'm not that uptight.....I do appreciate your looking out for credit thieves! :-) I just may have used the wrong words in an earlier post, trying to do too many things at once. Offbeat has been great but does't connect my name directly to my website in the Weekly Beat so sometimes there is confusion. Anyway, its time for a mind clearing run on the river......Oh...as far as the raffle goes, when would you need this by, things are] tight[/I] right now but I would love to help, especially for the kids, don't really know anything about it though...jerry

Jerry, here's the link to last year's raffle (https://ssl.perfora.net/threadheadraffle.org/sess/utn;jsessionid=1547c234db430bd/shopdata/index.shopscript) so you can get an idea what kind of stuff we had. We raised over $18,000 from the raffle alone for the New Orleans Musicians Clinic and the Silence is Violence kids' music clinic (correction: Monies raised were donated to NOMC and our own Fest4Kidz which, in turn, helps support the music clinics). We'll take donations anytime but the big push will come early next year.
FYI - Here's the Threadhead site (http://www.threadheads.org) that tells a little about us and what we do...
(BTW, Bry, the update looks GREAT!)

Jerry...I take for granted that people who are on here know about all the things that have grown out of this group of amazing people! Take some time and look over the sites that CBH put up and poke around this board and you will see that it is a no-brainer to help out.
BTW, the raffle is drawn during Jazz Fest so you don't need to commit until the beginning of the year, but we are always looking for new and exciting things!;) :D

Great, I can work with that. I see no reason I would not be able to help out with the raffle. I've poked around over the past couple days and like you said, "no brainer"
