Nice way to start our two-week vacation: The Neville Brothers, Steel Pulse and others playing the second annual Martha's Vineyard Music Festival on August 10th at Ocean Park in Oak Bluffs:

Anyone else planning to attend by any chance? FYI, don't be dissuaded by the $75 ticket price. The concert area is such that it can easily be viewed, heard and enjoyed fully from the surrounding areas without entering the concert gates.

Thanks Matthew. Hope you're having a great summer too. Hey, do you have this shirt yet?

Thought you might appreciate it if you don't have it already. BTW, this company has an excellent selection of lots of other interesting, original, creative t-shirt designs.

That would be a good Fest. Fortunately, I'll get to catch Art and the boys 2 nights earlier in Lowell.

I hear ya Deni. September and October are the best times to visit imo. But having school-aged kids now our options have become more limited and we have been forced to dive into the thick of peak summer or not go at all. It is a special place for us so we have made adjustments and concessions to return whenever we can; and we have now gotten to the point where we're almost immune from the effects of the peak summer crowd and able to enjoy it with our whole family even during that time. Of course having the Nevilles play literally steps from our house this summer helps too...

Look foward to seeing you. If you look for us; check the low chairs right down in front (fingers crossed 4 times). Plan to duck out of work around 2:00 to drive down and set up shop. I'll have on this years JF tee eith that crazy green design. :)
