As I am a very fair skinned guy, a wide brimmed hat is a must.
I bring one I bought a couple of years ago at Fest, made in a village in Africa, and love it. Get compliments on it often.

White, or lite colored shorts.True they do get very dirty thru course of day, but I don't care.Wore my regular short jeans one year, big mistake,much too heavy. White T shirts. I buy in N.O.very inexpensively. Stay much cooler when wearing white or lite colors. Kills me seeing people in black with sun beating down.

Make sure my footware is broken in well in advance of Fest.
Bandana for neck and sweat.
Sunsreen applied several times throughout day.
Umbrella for second lining and shade.
Light summer T shirts. I pack lite on underwear and buy in N.O.
Can't wait.

For those hot days or weekends,.. a single pair of easily washable (wash and wear,.. quick dry) light swim trunks (the type w/ pockets and all the attributes of a good pair of shorts) can get you through multiple days,.. and it allows the boys to breath as they swing to the beat... Call it the Kramer,.. "my boys are free and loooo-ving it".....
