Is anyone else having trouble logging in on particular threads? I keep getting kicked off. It will say "Welcome Csoul" at the top of the thread, but when I try to respond, it says I'm not logged in. Never had this trouble until yesterday. I've narrowed it down to one of 2 things 1) updates to the site yesterday or 2) all my comments about loving Jimmy Buffett made someone made and they deleted my access???? Somebody please help!! I feel like the kid on the playground that nobody wants to play with because I can't respond ;<<

I think Eat-Mo was having the same trouble yesterday. Haven't heard today...

Staxsun was having trouble getting ANY of the links to work from his home computer yesterday.

Thanks, cbh. At least I know I wasn't voted off the island!!!

Yes I've had that problem off and on. It seemed to occur only when I had more than one browser window open.

And I'm here! Thanks to everyone who gave suggestions. CBH did put me straight through, although I think at the same address I was trying. I'm at work now, and the real problem is at home.

so what is probably happening - the errors - is because the site is being co-located (cached) so that it wouldn't go down yesterday (and now) with all the news about the schedule. You might remember last year the site came to a screaching halt. I will keep an eye on this and lets hope for the best. Also, we will work on bringing the board out of the frames and doing some more tweaks to make it better.

It's looking good, Festy.

Tom, I emailed you about trying Firefox instead of IE, but it bounced back... Firefox is a "friendler", especially when things aren't quite "right" with a site. Eat Mo still cannot post. I can't use smiley's nor post pics.......

I believe Stax uses WebTV. Don't know if that is part of his issue or not.
I suspect the frames are part of his problem...

I just logged onto mr. soul's lap to to see if it makes a difference. It seems to be working a little better.

I bet most problems will disappear when they break the board out of the frames.

I had problems last night. I logged on, and it said my password was invalid. OK. I tried again-nothing-the heck with it, I got a new password.

we didn't change anything having to do with the board - it stayed the same - so i agree that these are temp. problems and will ease up

Yeah, well, Blainn. I tried like a thousand times to edit this post and the damn thing wouldn't let me!!!!! As much as Mr. Soul would have preferred it to be his "lap", it was, in fact his "LAP TOP". ba da bump.

I did get your e-mail, but it was early early AM. The WebTV won't let me change browsers. I do think the frames has something to do with it. Somehow CBH got me in without the frames. Even at work I got a weird error message I'd never seen before. Things are working now.

I'm having problems too, get me to the reply to thread box but won't post the message, so I have to log in a bunch of times, and the all of a sudden the reply will post.

Whatever tweaking you do Festy us primitives like me with Mac OS 9 and Internet Explorer for Mac. I'd switch but Firefox and the like require OS 10 or better.

Here's how my post should read. I tried to edit about 15 times but it kept making me log back in.

I have had lots of problems logging in as well. I use the upper right logon box. It then brings me to the 'bigger" logon page. That doesn't work either. The last step is to re-log in on the upper right logon screen, which seems to work.

i had issues last night with error message when i posted.

i thought it was due to my long winded messages, or my lack of sleep. i'm certain it was not the beer.

log in with 'remember me' checked. do not click the redirect link, wait for it to redirect itself. this seems to make the login work

if it wasnt too old, and/or too mean to have babies, i'd name the first one Abita. Abita Amber for a girl. Turbo Dog for a boy. Purpel Haze if i was tripping when it happened.
