According to today's Times Picayune, some changes will be made at the Fairgrounds for this years fest.
This includes making the stage at the Gentilly Blvd end as large as the Acura Stage, with it's own large video screen. Bonnie Raitt, Norah Jones, The Allman Bros, and Counting Crows will be on that stage.
There will be a Southern Comfort Blues Tent (I liked the stage better!), and larger Jazz and Gospel tents. The article dosn't say if these will be in the same locataions they have been in for the last few years.
How's this for a hard choice to make.. I quote from the TP Article
"And when you've got Rod Stewart at one end of the Fair Grounds and Norah Jones at the other end, and Ludacris in the middle, and Pharoh Sanders in the Jazz Tent, Ritchie Havens in the Blues Tent, and Linda Hopkins in the Gospel Tent, you've got a day!"
