I don't see anything on the Jazz Fest site about the Brass Pass. WWOZ's web site still has info from last years fest. Anybody know if they will offer a Brass Pass this year?
Louis
Yes, they are offering them. In fact, I got mine already.

There's usually not anything on the Fest site about Brass Passes. BP's are a WWOZ thing. I know it's hidden somewhere on OZ's site (cause we've had this discussion before) but I can't locate it right now. If I remember correctly, it's $350 this year with in/out privileges and use of the hospitality tent (food/potties/etc.)

The economics of brass pass are looking a lot better this year than past. You get 6 days of Fest admission, which for most of us would cost $240. So you're paying $110 for the extra benes, and of course it's all for a good cause.

Thanks for the quick reply. I see they also offer an "OVERPASS" for $100 more that is transferable. I take that to mean it can be used by more than one person. (so 2 people could share one, if someone can't go both weekends, for example).

Correct Lou....the overpass can be shared (not on the same day of course) so it's a good one to split w/ someone going the opposite weekend.

YYR Blumie, I guess that's why the Brass Pass went up to $350 this year but it still supports a good cause (WWOZ). And the fruit and iced coffee in the afternoon can save the day on occasion!

I LOVE that little purple bag! I feel like such royalty :) Wonder if it would be weird if I started wearing my brass pass to work . . .

Amy, the Brass Pass is this seasons HOTTEST accessory - it also goes well with the Alumnium foil hat i've been sporting at work (see the "weird page" thread.....:D )
