Those I will *really* miss first weekend

2ndliner and I are going Fri. of first weekend (and then on to Lafayette), so we may see some of these, but these are the ones I will *really* miss:
Jerry Lee Lewis, Van the Man (if he doesn't phone it in), Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda Williams, Pete Fountain, New Orleans Social Club, Mose Allison, Marcia Ball, Bobby Charles(!!), Bobby Lounge.

Bobby Lounge was great last year, and I've been dying to see Bobby Charles forever. I can only hope they are on Friday.

It would be nice to see the Van man put aside his ego and give us a top notch effort,.. and Lucinda might very well be lucid enough to perform... Incredibly cool that Bonnie and John are flyin' in from down under for our benefit...

After I whined it up a bit on another thread in regards to the price increase, it is amazing how much music one can see (or miss) for the price.....

Van was amazing a few years back - although the memory is a bit hazy!

Very sad to miss Soulive - but pumped for 2nd weekend!

We saw Van recently and he gave an excellent performance. Just have to keep our fingers crossed.

oooh, I didn't notice Bobby Lounge, I heard him online radio interview after I got back last year and was hoping to catch him sometime....they said he only plays once in a while...so another reason to be psyched for 1st weekend!
