New Orleans funk/soul band Soul Project will be playing at Cask 591 in Long Branch Saturday night. They were living in NJ for 7 months after the storm, and were "adopted" by the Jersey Shore Jazz & Blues Foundation. We saw them several times then, and they come back every summer. Maybe some of you saw them open the Acura stage on the Thursday this year.

We're planning on going. Anyone want to join us? Show starts at 9. $5 cover.

Wish I could catch this one. They were playing at a club on Decatur and I crossed the street to listen. Made a point of catching them at Fest and really enjoyed it!

They have a regular gig at Club 300 on Decatur. We were very excited to see them play the Acura Stage.

My boyfriend and I are heading over to the track to put some bets in and then plan to attend a bbq in Neptune City. If I adequately liquor him up this afternoon, I may see y'all.
