This may have already been posted here. If so, sorry! I thought it was a great story and definitely captured the feeling of everyone I knew on Sunday.

Awesome. As a Bears fan, I hated to see NO lose. I hated to see the party end. We could have taken the loss to the Bears and moved on to our homes, our jobs, our family being where they are supposed to be.

Thanks piscesgirl. The second line is a beautiful thing, even for the end of a season of football.

Wow, that made me cry. :)Me, too. When I saw it on Monday, I immediately email it to all of my JazzFest crowd.
Having spent last weekend in NOLA, and seeing how Saints crazy the city was, I actually was concerned about the impact of the Saints losing would have on the city's morale. I can't tell you how great it made me feel to see this article.

I am new to the site. I was at Sunday's game and organized a duo (tuba and trombone players) to march the Who Dats from the Chicago Hilton through Grant Park to Soldier Field. I have pics which I sure Saints' fans would enjoy. I would post them but I guess I'm not allowed. We had close to a 1000 in just a couple days time of preparation. It's something none of us who went will ever forget. I see some bear fans on this site and hope none are related to those lowlifes with "the bears will finish what katrina started" signs and chants of "why didn't you drown".

Kitten's crying all over again reading this excellent story [SNIFF] - thanks for posting it, Piscesgirl!
Where yat Brah: you should be able to include photos in the posting itself - just use the wee tiny icon that looks like a picture of a mountain with a moon/sun/pluto in the upper right-hand corner. That will open up a field into which you can paste the URL from the location where you have the photos on the Interweb (such as Photobucket, Flickr, Yahoo photos, etc.) - then it will upload the photo into the posting for the thread.
Or . . . you can just post the link to your online photo album on one of those aforementioned fine, free websites!
