i received this note from Bryan's wife and wanted to share it with you.
This is Bethany, Bryan's wife. Bryan unfortunately did spend a few days in the hospital while we were in Germany. However, it was not because of a heart attack. He was feeling quite bad. We called for a doctor, went to the hospital and found out he had fluid in his lungs. They put him on oxygen until we flew back to the states on Monday. We went straight to the hospital here in NOLa and yes, he did have fluid on his lungs and his oxygen level was in the danger zone. After many tests the doctors found out that the right side of his diaphragm is punctured, and paralyzed, this is what caused the low oxygen levels.
So for now he is on oxygen full time, 24/7, until he losses some weight. They cannot fix the right side of his diaphragm but if he losses some serious weight , the condition will improve.
Thank you for your support and concern. Bryan actually is planning on going back to work this week. He is being honored at the Janesville School for the Blind, doing a fund raiser this Thursday and then on Friday morning talking to the kids at the school.
What can I say, he loves his job and he does it so well. He is very anxious to get back to work. Please keep him in your thoughts and or prayers.
Thank you all and God Bless You!
