Bobby Jindal just announced that he will run for Governor against Blanco!
Run Bobby, run!!!! This is great news for Louisiana (IMHO;) )

That is great news. I have to wonder what things would be like now if the last election had gone differently.

My mom wonders the same thing. She voted for him, of course. I'm so glad he's running. He sounds like a great guy and a MUCH BETTER candidate. Go Bobby!

Me too, and every day.
Given BlankStare's dismal performance, ill-conceived special session and embarrassing comments to the business lobby a couple of weeks ago, I think Jindal may get upwards of 70% of the vote. This election cannot happen soon enough for Louisiana.

Hey Mark, do you have any associations with Jonathan Ferrara, another nola artist who's very active politically? (with Baltimore roots)

Terry: I know Jonathan, but don't have any real association with him. I kinda live in my own little world in Algiers Point. I don't really have the time to do all of the "political" things to get big in the art world here. Just trying to keep busy working and making my art and surviving, that's the important stuff now. The political things that I do are because I believe in certain things and if I can just do a little from here, so much the better.
I'm glad that the pendants look good, I can't wait for the pix...thanks again!
