We SO wanted to go to this but had other plans with a friend we just couldn't break. Would love to hear how it was.

I hear you! I had a great time at Injuns a Comin' but if I had known, I would have been there instead! It's a shame there is so little to do in New Orleans.
I caught the last hour or so. Very cool set. A bit different, an intimate venue, with the band pretty much sitting in chairs the whole set - not very Hot 8-ish.
They did the best St James Infirmary that I've heard this weekend - it lasted a good 25-30 minutes, wow.

I thought it was off the hook! Dr. Michael White is amazing, as is Shamarr, he just keeps getting beter & better. Two of our F4K also "sat in" with the band, Jarrell Allen & DJ Shavers, Jr. on drums. Lots of THs in attendance.
