So I'm just sitting here waiting for that email or phone call saying I won SOMETHING in the raffle. (I can't even remember all the stuff I bid on besides that Disney trip and the wine) It's bad enough we have to read about the private party, the crawfish CHEESECAKE, the private show, the fun, fun, fun y'all are having as I get ready to go to work, but the suspense is killing me. C'mon, throw me a little crumb (of the cheesecake).

I had to stay at the office and didn't make it over to the raffle but I hear that Jeff (jhpotter) worked their butts off from start to finish on getting the drawings done and documented. People were headed to IAC and they were still at it. So I hope they're taking a well-deserved break! And chrisjoseph already told me that I won a car. Mean man!

Amy's right, Jeff, Amy, Saturn and many more threadheads worked 6 straight hours on drawing all the names, entering the winners on a spread sheet and organizing the nearlt 200 prizes. They didn't leave to go to IAC till after 9pm. I'm sure Jeff will post the winners shortly. :)

There is a list, it hasn't been posted yet. They were giving stuff to the winners at the patry. I'm sure that it will be posted soon. It's something that will need clear heads to do, so it might not be tonight

The winners will be posted in a few days. I'm sure sorry everyone has to wait a bit, but it'll be worth it! Jeff and Amy and Natalie really worked hard, as did many others, but with over 200 prizes... wow... talk about time consuming!
I stand up and salute them! Wonderful job guys! Thank YOU!

Well... it's late, and paparoux is zonked out in bed next to me as I type this, but the phone call I didn't take during dinner at Mr. B's Bistro was for him... my architect buddy, Nick, calling to offer him a job... here. HERE! This just may put a monkey wrench in out plans for JF tomorrow! He wants a call back before we leave for fest... I am so tempted to wake him up, that that would only make him cranky...
I'm not so crazy about NJ either... but I wasn't expecting this so quickly...
DAVID, who was the real estate person you told me to contact about that house across the street from you and Jenn?
...OMG... this may be REAL!

MAMA, get the whole family to move down to NOLA, eh? (I'm talking Abbie too!)
Guys, we do have a spreadsheet of winners but haven't had internet to get it up . . . It's on Jeff's computer, somewhere, if I could find it maybe I could figure it out. It's just too long to type . . .
A lot of folks won a lot of great stuff. We've been getting prizes out and have more to go. Someday we'll get it all sorted, I promise. I know we've got a big box of stuff for Festbabe and haven't seen her yet . . .
Linza winning the Bluedog print was too great, she almost cried. And Bluedog won the new Bluedog print, perfect, eh?
Amy, if you have a way to email me the spreadsheet, I can get it posted somewhere.

Thanks, Jenn. I liked that house across the street from you...looks like it might be laid out pretty similar to yours, which I love, plus I already love the neighbors! :) Papa came home with some serious info today... but each time I say something he sort of makes a face... yet he now knows all the info he needs on getting his PE license down there, and the elevation of various parts of the city... then after dinner tonight he hits me with... maybe we should rent for a while until we see how you survive with your allergies down there!
I don't get men sometimes... we jump to conclusions, but then torment us with this sort to thing!

I think that may be a yes, darlin'! The son moves back home this weekend, and papa figures he'll talk to him about renting the house if this works out... It's 7 feet above sea level over there, huh? I thought it was 3... oh well, I'm not going to argue with an engineer.

He has begun polishing up his resume for them... the offices are in Met'ry, Baton Rouge and Gulfport, MS, but my friend Nick is the VP that heads the architectural division in Met'ry... we'll see.

Sweetie, if I were talking about Outer Banks, NC, my son in law would be packed up and ready to move sooner than I could hang up the phone... and you knew that Abbie is going to be a big time factor in any decision we make the moment you saw this, didn't you? I told my daughter today, how that beautiful, wonderful lil' Natalie helped me miss a weekend with Abbie by giving me some prime Memere time at the Patry.
She, and you and Jeff are in my heart and prayers as well... and if you need us for anything... no matter what, you let me know! Wrapping you all in lots of love and positive vibes, baby... kiss her and tell her Memere loves her so very much, k?

You mean when the moving van arrives, so you can help? LOL
I'm not saying a word to papa... I'll let him ponder for a bit. Of course, the oldest daughter and the mama of the bebe, isn't any to happy about the very thought of her own mama leaving, considering that she's constantly sending us emails about homes in her own neighborhood, as soon as one goes up for sale. The youngest, on the other hand, loves the idea, because she wants a place to come and stay when she goes to Mardi Gras... we haven't even mentioned it to the boy yet...
boy... he'll be 30 in a month! LOL
Maybe we need to rent a place, let papa come down by himself a while, and see how he likes it. We know I do... and if the Potters move down, I can fix my addiction with NOLANat, and then Abbie will have a playmate when she visits... oh we'll see.. we'll see.
