Hi-getting very excited here! Any news on who TBA will be at Rocknbowl Thursday night and also does anyone know about the dance floor situation at Harrahs for Sat night? thanks-Zydep

To the best of my knowledge,Thurs. will be Buckwheat, CJ and Leon Sam, maybe others (Sunpie?)
Not my fave dance bands, tho I'm interested in the legendary Leon (reputedly one of the best, "Personal problems" last few years)
Rosie & Keith Tues & Wed.
I was disappointed in lack of dancers at JF (Rock&Bowl was good), so went to Fest Internationale Sat., good move, it was a blast. Better weather (intermittent drizzle) great dancing & food. Next Sat. I'm going to Breaux Bridge fest.
Sad to say, but lots of hard core dancers have given up on JF & tend to go to Lafayette area.

Thanks! I am a diehard for SW Zydeco Fest--have gone 21 years in a row--love Slims, Lawtell, etc. And I been goin to Lafayette area to dance with my home boys for many, many years...But...JF is a family affair and love it too. You can always find Booty Stage Left at Fais dodo...let's dance!!! Does anyone know the dance floor at Harrahs? Booty wants to know!
