Ludlows, I will be at the Maple Leaf late on wed. for the "Never Was Brothers" show --- This is a one off show--- the band members include Brian Stoltz, Willie Green and a couple of others, and the name refers to the fack that the band members are all past or currant members of the Neville Brothers...... I am not sure, but I think that I may be on the guest list, and can maybe get someone else added. If not, I imagine that the cover charge will only be 10 or 15 bucks..... Usually I avoid the Maple Leaf during Fest (too crowded/claustrophobic) but with so much else going on, I think the crowd will be nice and intimate (read:small). I have known Willie Green and Brian Stoltz for a long time and in addition to being great musicians they are nice guys, and I want to be there to support them. I would certainly be happy for company, so if you want to meet up, please dont hesitate to get in touch. Whatever you end up doing, I hope you have a SAFE, WILD and WONDERFUL Jazzfest!!! Matthew

Was at a music festival in Az. this weekend (great warm up for 2nd weekend!). Am sending this from the Pass Christian, MS library. ( Construction everywhere but some of those beautiful old houses on scenic are still there. Had to see for myself) The rain that had made the mud last weekend at JF has really cooled things off.

(folks, I came from dry Denver) Dinner in Diamondhead tonight, sleeping in Slidell and sailing in Destin, FL tomorrow. Will be back in La. Friday after a visit at Lulus for lunch. (JBuffetts sisters place) Gotta do the relaxing stuff before getting there and having sleepless nights (unless I pass out). I'm so excited! Can't wait to see you all at Ms Lenas! Soon !
