Brass Pass letdown :(

At Jazz Fest Friday I found out my Brass Pass has less value than before. It turns out this year, Brass Pass & Over Pass holders can't bring guests into the hospitality area! (children are the only exception). If they mentioned this when the passes went on sale , then I missed it! I heard they were getting quite a few complaints. Lots of couples I know buy one pass, since the spouse can't go every day due to work or other reasons, but they could at least both enjoy the hospitality area together! I don't know how others feel, but personally I'd rather do without the free CD that comes with the brass pass in exchange for the hospitality guest privilege!

i think allowing guests would be unfair to all us....and seriously, the brass pass was only a 100 dollar donation if your down the whole time.

In all seriousness, I bought my Brass Pass because it was just $25 more than the face value of the tickets I normally buy and I wanted support wwoz. Sitting in the tent yesterday, eating fresh fruit under the misting machines, taking a load of my feet....it was worth every dime and more. I honestly can't believe I never purchased one before!
