Cuban Samwich

what happened to the cool latin dude that would sell the best fest food for the dollar. five bucks would get you a big old cuban!!!!! I go to the fest today to get my fest fav and what do i find, Consacio's now has the gig. and of course the price went up a buck and the samwich lost a quarter of its size.

i call BS on that!!! Bring back the dude yelling "GRANDE". I'll start shoping only at rousses for now on.

The Cuban sandwich has always been one of my favorites. I found that the one yesterday was "different", but very tasty. The bread was a little different, more pork/ham than the old vendors, but not enuf pickles. Still a really good portable sandwich!

My sammich was a good 8" long. Very hearty with more shredded pork and ham than I recall. Agree with Jenn .. it needed a lil more pickles and mustard. But a really good sandwich!!! I couldn't even eat all of mine.. but I was trying to save some room for Brocato's Spumoni Ice Cream in the next booth:D YUMMY!!!!

I haven't had one yet, but I know some of my friends have said how much they loved 'em and had more than one and tonight I was told that this years is even better than the other...
