With all the 1st weekenders and "all in" folks gone. It will just be us 2nd wknders and those who happen to check in from the fest from time to time.
I was hoping to watch some of the 1st wknd shows on the live web cast, but according to the site that is only going to be active on May 3 and 4. Oh well.
If any of you 1st wknders are still on line have a great time!
For you folks there for the whole shebang, see you Weds.
Btw, if anyone is arriving around 1 pm Weds, and wants to share a cab to the quarter, let me know.

Yes, the ATT Blue Room webcasts are only 2nd weekend (though they will have some taped stuff from 1st weekend played then).
But, WWOZ usually broadcasts (audio) many of the Jazz Tent performances. I haven't seen anything on that posted, but I'd be surprised if they don't do that as usual. Streaming audio online at http://www.wwoz.org

I'm sorry I'm gonna miss seeing you as well Dan. I believe the last time was a party in Bethesda where some furniture was burned. Have a safe trip and we'll try again next year.

Ohh gee Kev of course we'll be here for ya keeping you in the loop till you join the happy madness in NOLA. :) Some peeps are cyber addicted wherever we go and the wifi works great at the HIFQ.....Are you doing anything fun this weekend?

I haven't been posting for some time now. I've been in the middle of remodeling a house and moving. just wanted to tell all of you first weekers to have a LARGE time - I'll be arriving next Wed. WOO-HOO!

Hey Now Friends--- I guess I am not the only one who still has a couple of days to go----I woke up here in Salt Lake to 4 inches of snow that fell overnight, so the New Orleans sunshine will be a welcome sight.... I fly in on tuesday, which cant get here soon enough. I look forward to seeing you all soon, and wish everyone safe travels, and a WILD and WONDERFUL JAZZFEST!!! Matthew
My Mom was once on a plane with Dr. John, and even better, they were both in First Class (my mom was upgraded because coach was full). I was waiting for her at the gate, and the Doctor is the first one off, and she's about 3 people behind him. She had no idea who he was. :)

I'll keep WWOZ tuned in and will be obsessed with the boreds over the weekend - road trip Tuesday the fest-mobile takes off 9 am (or so). First event in NOLA is RTF - hope to see most y'all there.
