The great pleasure of having the performer list, but not the cubes, is that, for a while at least, you can imagine that you can will be able to see everyone you want to see. :cool: :)

I agree with Zenwinemaster about the Sunday announcement. It has always been on Sunday. I checked the Times Picayune website and saw nothing about an anouncement. Also, on the main Jazzfest web page under schedule, it says lineup will be announced in Feb.

It was Shell. I remember listening to that to. I kept telling everyone in my office to shut the hell up b/c I coudn't hear. The nerve of people talking over a JF lineup announcement. LOL

I believethe press conference that you all are referencing was the Jan 31 announcement that Jazzfest was a "go" for 2006, the lineup didnt come out for two weeks later, we were all slightly disappointed, yet happy

Gumbo, I sent you a message a day or two ago about JF. I was giving a shoutout to my JF buddy and was wondering were you gonna be there on second weekend but it doesn't matter now cuz I'm coming both weekends, just no daze in between. I CAN'T. Believe me when I tell you I am thoroughly tormented about this cuz it's KILLING me that I have to miss it. I really wish I could, babe.
