I have a blur of helpful Threadhead faces and names from the past year of my
life. It is my turn to give back and I have a ready band.
John Boutte, Susan Cowsill, Russ Broussard, Mary Lasseigne, Craig Klein,
Shamarr Allen and yours truly all ready to perform together for the Threadheads.
Who do I talk to about time and organization? I have an in-store at Louisiana
Music Factory but that is brief and ya'll have Big Sam and a couple of other
acts so it shouldn't be a problem.
I do want to get the information to the folks that have agreed to perform.
I hope ya'll have heard the record you not only helped pay for but thought of
as well.
the new issue of Where Y'at Magazine has a very nice article about my Fest
appearance and has a shout out to the Threadheads as well, hope you dig.
peace, love and jazz fest,
Paul

Hey, that's actually a great idea although I'm sure others have different plans.
PS. I got your response and will respond Friday. I'm waiting for the cut off date since plane tickets, rental car, etc. all add up. I may add a pumpkin or two as well.

Brilliant idea actually, that would work super sweet for us.

Re-reading Paul's original email, I'm thinking that he is referring to his gig at the Patry :(
I will email the 2fors and see what is really happening.....

yea, rosie, that's what I thought the original message meant, too. Cuz he has an in-store on patry day, and his reference to the others performing that day....

Sorry folks.........
I just got confirmation of my mistake...
The email was to finalize Paul's gig at the Patry. There was some timing issues with his in-store.
Sorry to get your hopes up.

When I saw John here on April 4, he mentioned this and I thought it was best he got Paul to speak to the patry talent committee, as he really wanted to be there. Glad it's all been worked out! And, hold onto your hats, it will be a great show! :D
