Very cool Maggie....I've read a couple of history books on New Orleans and find it completely fascinating. I still think it's a past life kinda thing....

Oh yeah totally. I've had dreams where I'm dancing on the Quarter rooftops. I'm totally fascinated with the old red light district. What initially brought me to NOLA from Cali was Anne Rice. Her descriptions of New Orleans are amazing in Interview with a Vampire, Feast of All Saints, and the Witch Chronicles.

Before I booked my first trip to NOLA, I was working in a "New Orleans-style" building that had a big oak tree with moss helicoptered into the center courtyard. It was one of many signs that I need to get to NOLA. Of course, I immediately met my hubbie there and we have sprouted three kids from a seven year marriage. We got married at the Fest on 4/29/01. Met at Terrance Simien at now Gentilly stage the year before also on 4/29. Cosmic!
