If your books have photos of naked women or erotic stories in them, you'll never see them again. Now you understand men - wasn't that easy?

Well, that's a good sign - guys tend to be pretty possessive about their CD's. Is he refusng to return them, or is he just...invisible?

Yeah, no kidding. I have not tried the on-line dating thing....only just now getting back into circulation....that always seemed a little scary to me. Especially after some of the stories I hear....But heck, you hear the same kinds of stories about dates gone bad that were the result of match-ups from close friends, so, what are you gonna do?? I guess you take the good with the bad, and know when its time to cut bait and move on.
Jersey, we will definitely have some great stories to trade over beignets and Kahlua spiked cafe at Cafe Dumonde. Weeeee!

Well, I have a saying that I often use in business when things get nasty, and it tends to elevate people's behaviours. I say "I'm not accustomed to doing business at this level", and it usually does the trick. Why not call/email the dude and just say "I'm not accustomed to communicating at this level...how do you normally do this?" and see what happens! If the guy is even semi-mature, he should take the bait...

Sooooo, what you guys are saying is the VS undie girls should just take one for the team? hmmmm I'm all for a charitable cause, but not sure I'm willing to go that far.
However, after some sun, zydeco, and vodka crannies, it would be hard to say at that point with any degree of certainty. My philantropic tendencies have been known to become more pronounced in direct proportion to the amount of nice outside influences that I am hit with. **hic** sorry, on my second Grey Goose & Cran.

Happens that way often at my house. Me to bed a 2-3a just as hubby gets up. In fact, his coffee coming on reminds me it's my bedtime.

So, how do you deal with online dating and meeting freaks? i think i am done. Too many friggin wierdos out there
BUT, I have his Blind boys of Alabama CD...he will want that back..maybe
OMG! NEVER, NEVER lend out the Beauty series! Tell people they can get them at their library... and if their library doesn't have them, they can get them via Jersey Cat! reminds me... I went on a booze mission this afternoon. I had no more bottles of Stoli Orang and there were none to be found in the southen NJ area in the 6 different stores I stopped in. I did find some kahlua, none of the french vanilla, none of the one Mr. Vegas talked of, only regular and some hazelnut, but I passed on the hazelnut.... did pick up a pukcer apple to try with mango freeze, and some items for my own little in room bar, like a pint of Crown, a little Grand Marnier, Drambuie, they are nice for after dinner drinks or GM in coffee... and a couple Bacardi Limon for Mango, and Absolut Ruby Red for that too... ruby red and mango sound good, right?

It's on FOX...mama, you are just buzzing!!!!! How much coffee did you drink!
I'll keep you company when you get back from your Irish Pub outing (and I'm sure that PC will help!) ;)
Gotta get back to w*rk.....this new stuff is lookin' good! :D
Oh baby, you got that right! The president of the library board was just in here, and I lead a second line around the stacks... we were laughing and hooting it up! Luckily, his daughters and mine went to school together, and I was their religion instructor... stop laughing, Rosie, that isn't that funny! But he's a good guy, and everyone knows there's no dealing with me now! I'm in NOLAmode!
... anyway, it's Jenn's fault for getting me even more psyched than I should be! have I told you how much I love her and David? I might have...

BBaby....I know you'll read this....re: parking....I don't know how much it costs generally.... The St louis (where I am staying) has parking on Iberville (Premium Parking/Brennan) for $28 self drop off/pick up for 24 hours. Can come and go as much as you want, no extra charge.
If this is not so expensive, can do this for Fri am....then walk over to DuMonde...
Bbaby if you are looking for parking, there is also a lot on the corner of Decauter and Elysian Fields (or Esplanade)...Its prolly 5 or 6 blocks (the short French 1/4 blocks though for the most part ) Last time I parked there it was 8 bucks a day and there is an attendant...Gumbo recommended lot (unless someone steals your vehicle ;) ) j/k-good lot. Not come and go as you please though, rates are in blocks of hours. Still reasonable IMHO.
