A wax? OUCH! I am so afraid of trying that...and yes, I know what one you are talking about. I think I'd have to bite down on a towel or something so as not to scare the other customers...


It hurts, but you get used to it. The first time I had my brow waxed, the aesthetician told me to close my eyes. Next thing I knew, I felt like punching somebody for a second because it felt like I'd been hit in the face with a horsewhip! Whew!

I can't tweeze my eyebrows. Can't stand it, makes me sneeze. So, i'll take waxing any day over the tweezers. It's over so quickly, you barely have time to notice the discomfort. The results are so much longer lasting.

I was at the gas pump, car door open, Tab Benoit on the CD player singing IKO IKO / Saints Go Marching In medly....(yes, I had it a little loud) and the truck next to me had.....get this....Terrance Simien singing his version of the IKO IKO Saints medly! We had it going in stereo! Me and the girl gave each other these startled looks, and then I pointed at her and said JASSFEST???? And the sssssttt wasnt even out of my mouth and she yelled YESS in 5 days!!! OMG we nearly died laughing. I really had to resist the urge to reach over and hug her! How funny is that! I mean, Day-um!! You can just FEEL it in the air! The vibe is so strong!!

I work on-call & haven't worked since 4/7. SUDDENLY.. I'm working all this week (in LA) . Normally, I would be jumping up & down, but I wish It could of been AFTER JF! I still have so much to do!!
