My Jets have an easy schedule this year, THANKFULLY!
JETSJETSJETS
I heard the Pats have the easiest schedule of any team in the modern era (since they started playing 16 games/season). Their opponents winning % was around .386.
The Saints schedule is absurd. It's bad enough that they play a game in London that counts as a home game, so only 7 in the dome this year. But then they go and sandwich that "home" game with a road game, a bye, and two more road games. Net result - a whopping and unheard of 43 days between home games, from Oct 12 to Nov 24. That's got to be a record surpassed only by the Saints whole 2005 season.
Looks like no Threadheads in the Dome for Festgiving this year. :(
1 Sept. 7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1 p.m.
2 Sept. 14 at Washington Redskins 1 p.m.
3 Sept. 21 at Denver Broncos 4:05 p.m.
4 Sept. 28 San Francisco 49ers 1 p.m.
5 Oct. 6 (Mon.) Minnesota Vikings 8:30 p.m.
6 Oct. 12 Oakland Raiders 1 p.m.
7 Oct. 19 at Carolina Panthers 1 p.m.
8 Oct. 26 San Diego Chargers (in London) 1 p.m.
9 Nov. 2 Bye
10 Nov. 9 at Atlanta Falcons 1 p.m.
11 Nov. 16 at Kansas City Chiefs 1 p.m.
12 Nov. 24 (Mon.) Green Bay Packers 8:30 p.m.
13 Nov. 30 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1 p.m.
14 Dec. 7 Atlanta Falcons 1 p.m.
15 Dec. 11 (Thurs.) at Chicago Bears 8:15 p.m.
16 Dec. 21 at Detroit Lions 1 p.m.
17 Dec. 28 Carolina Panthers 1 p.m.

If there is one thing I've learned being a life long Jets fan, is that "easy" and "Jets" can be very relative. That being said.... J E T S JETS JETS JETS

They've done well in the even numbered years the last few and yes, I fully know your pain.
With the money spent, they better be improved.
I have no faith in their QB position at the moment and they could use a big WR as well.
I hope McFadden falls to #6.

this is horrible for me. i cant go to games on monday night and i think london is probably out. that leaves 5 i can attend-and my in law family has an excess of season tickets.
but...i am quite optimistic about this coming year. especially if they find a way to replace the entire secondary from last year, starting with mike mckenzie. i got tired of watching the saints make good quarterbacks look like bradymannings last year. that rams game was the most painful i have ever experienced in the dome. i had visions of taking my 14 year old football playing son and asking sean if we could have an on field/in game tryout. it couldnt have been much worse.

Sounds like our crappy schedule last season ...... we won the Super Bowl. Could be a good sign for the Saints.

It's almost impossible for them not to be improved, I couldn't be much worse than last year. From what I've been reading , Vernon Gholston might be that best we do at #6. I have to admit I'm not to crazy about another smallish DE in the 3-4. Kind of hoping they take a shot at Joe Flaco in the 2nd round. The kid seems like a moose.

Am excited the Bears are playing the Saints again. But this will be the 3rd year in a row that the game is played in Chicago. I would love to see da Bears in Nola. Now there is a road trip! Go Bears!

Gholston is the one kid that all the so called experts keep saying could be a bust. I'd love to see McFadden fall to #6 even with Thomas Jones signed. I'm far from sold on Jones but the offensive line will be much improved for certain.

alright, some Jets fans!! haha. i feel your pain, fellas. mcfadden is enticing if he's there but i really feel that thomas jones should be much better with faneca and woody blocking for him. they never got over kendall not being there last year, the line never gelled and jones' production suffered. not sure what to make of gholston, seems to be a split about his potential.
think they would trade out of that slot to fill more needs?

If they do that, McFadden will be the next Walter Payton.
Should be interesting this weekend. I think they are in a good spot at 6, I wouldn't trade down.

I hope so , they are projecting Gholston as another LB/DE highbreed, which we dont really need. Read some rumors that if McFadden was gone about trading down and targeting a mid round Cornerback.

WOW! Nice to see some long suffering Jet bretheren here! 20 year ticket holder myself. The one good thing about a crappy season is a lot of good ole 1pm Sunday games. The only 4 pm game is the first home game when the days are long and the sun warm! Great tailgating weather.
Oh, and the team, I agree that Jones will be much better with the improved O line. I thought the same thing when I read the post about trading down. Take McFadden if he is available. Go Jets!
If any of you go out to the games I run a large tailgate and any Thead is always more then welcome!

You are going to tire quickly of watching Fernando Bryant chase WR's.
God bless him and Roll Tide!:p I watched the poor kid in college get burned repeatedly. I'm amazed he's playing in the NFL still.

If the Raiders pass on him, I think he'll be a Jet. Fingers crossed!

Hey he went to Riverdale High..anybody cool enough to play football at the school Archie and the gang went to is ok in my book..we will teach him how to play db --taught Samuel to play back there.
As far as McFadden, I am not so sure the Jets will take him..call me crazy but the Jets have a way of dropping the ball on draft day (pun very much intended), so do the Raiders.:D

I think he was referring to the whole thing with the Ortiz jersey, FG...some Boston fan working construction at the new ballyard buried a David Ortiz shirt to hex the Yankees and it took a few hours to unbury it so they are talking about criminal and civil charges against the guy.

i know .... sarcasm doesn't always work when you type.
i think the whole thing was hype anyway. it was there for 9 months, he had told all of his yankee fan friends and no one said anything until the first yanks-sox series this year. seems fishy to me and my la bosox fan friends as well. cashman & epstein were a little to cozy this off season .......
