how do i attach a pic to a message?

I want to introduce myself properly but don't know how to attach a photo of myself to a message. can anyone explain how? cheers v much x

You have to upload your pic to something like Photobucket.com (no charge). Once it is loaded there, you copy the "Image URL" and come back to this forum, "post a reply" and click on the icon above that is a square with the mountail and sum (image link). This opens a link box, and you paste the image link from Photobucket there. Be sure to delete the {img} both before and after the link or it wont work.

Yes, but probably near the very early pages...

BTW...if you have problems with the pic posting, send me an email to sware AT bipcoinc DOT com and I'll set up a link for you to post. Photobucket is free is very easy to use...I doubt you'll have any problems.

FYI. As some folks are having trouble with this, I thought I'd post a demo:

First, create an account at http://photobucket.com/. Log into your account and find this box at the upper right of the screen:

Click "Browse" and select the picture you want to upload from your PC. Then click "Upload".


Your picture will appear lower down on the Photobucket screen. Put your cursor on the first line of text below the picture and click; a small flag, "Copied", will appear, like this:

Now go back to this chat board. Click the "Post Reply" button. In the Message box, click on the yellow icon like this:

A swall window will open, like this:

Put your cursor on the highlighted text and then right-click. Select "Paste", like this:

The text you copied on the Photobucket page should now be pasted in the window. Click "OK", like this:

Your picture will now appear. Done!
