Rosetree, I trust you with anything to do with glass.... that's it!
BTW, think I sent you an e an eon ago... I'll be wanting a blue vase (only you have to say 'varse' to get my $$$) that will take really heavy tall flowers (Queensland tropicals that are a gorgeous orange and red colour) and that has a huge lead weight in the base (that's base, not barse... go figure). We live on the side of a hill and when the wind comes up... the vases come a crashing down. I put stones in the bottom, but alas it doesn't work. I need a really HEAVY one.

Don't feel bad, Ozzie, I haven't had the pleasure of hebjamn's bread, either. I know how much I love it at the fest, though. If it's better than that then all I can say is OMG.

Pat O'Brien's shouldn't have beaten Acme, much less Lafitte's. Crawfish bread all the way.

Ozzie...I'm sure we can find something to suit your needs, or make one :D A big VARSE that won't topple. We also have a removable adhesive that was developed for earthquake-prone regions that might help for any other VARSES that you have..
p.s. just wait until the patry to try the bread...I'll get your reaction then!

David's crawfish bread beats the fest's for one simple reason. He is making it for friends and not to make a profit. Into one bread goes 1.5# of crawfish, 1# of cheese, plus seasonings. It makes about 10 small slices. And yeah, he's talking about doing it on the grill for the patry (like at festgiving). He LOVES making because everyone likes it so much. :)
Thanks for the pics, corona! That may have given the bread it needs! ;)
