trust me, some folks make a much bigger deal about getting their poster than meeting up. not us, eh! I'll share a little secret: if one volunteers for Ms. Lena's beer booth, they get the opportunity to get a poster and mail it, before the gates open for the day! shhhhhhhhhhh

You're a tease Ohio! Last year on our first day ever we stood in line for seemingly hours 'cos we promised FunkyMC (?) we would get him a poster(somehow thought it would be easy and quick). Missed the first hour or so of Fest and STILL didn't get a poster for him. I sure hope he got one from other means 'cos after an hour I'm saying "this is ridiculous we have to go" and the older one is saying "bad luck baby... you said you would". Then they said no more poster sales anyway.
Also, last year we did Sat late 'cos we figured not many others would and we didn't know any of the bands anyway... this year I'm planning the same BUT after a taste of Fest I'm not sure I'll be so quick to give up Sat late. We'll see. Cheers.

Ozzie... I don't think that there will be the same problem this year :( Two reasons...I don't think that JLL is as popular as Fats...The first poster after "the Thing" meant a lot to a lot of people. Hopefully the poster people will guestimate better this year on sales #s

No worries Rosetree... I'd always ditch the poster line for a threadhead meetup anyway. That, and I've learned to not volunteer for poster duty!

really? I never got one :( let me know how much you are asking...
I didn't get to order it ahead of time, and then we had to cancel the first week cuz my niece got married, so we only made it to second week.
... and I loved those threadhead meetings!
