The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation presents the first-ever showing of materials from the Jazz & Heritage Archive with "Jazz Fest 1970 & 1971: Beauregard Square," featuring photographs, posters, art works, memorabilia and artifacts from the first two years of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Showcased artists include Noel Rockmore, Michael P. Smith, John Messina and others. The opening reception is Friday, April 4 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Jazz & Heritage Gallery 1205 N. Rampart Street (at Gov. Nicholls). Regular gallery hours: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. Free admission. The exhibit closes June 6.
