can anyone recommend a convenient campground for the Jazz Fest?

If you are going to be tent camping and you'll be there for any days between the fest (mon, tues, wed) you should consider moving to a hotel in the CBD or French Quarter. Prices are a flat out bargain for those dates. You can get a super nice room for about $60 per night after all taxes and fees. Camping will cost you at least $15 so it would only be $45 more per day and you have all those conviences of the metropolition area. It was. Nagin got tired of looking at reality out his office window and moved them out of his site. Cheapest camping in town. Sometimes they even feed you for free.
