Hey y'all
Rosetreefest is just around the corner, and I need to start buying my provisions.
Please let me know if you are planning on attending.

For the newbies out there, Rosetreefest is a gathering of Threadheads at my glassblowing studio in a low key meet-up. It is on Wednesday 'tween Fest from 9:00- 4:00. We serve Muffalettas, Mimosas, maybe Martinis, cold, cold, Abitas, and assorted other food and libations. We have glassblowing demos going all day and you can get up close and personal with the material .:D
We are located just 8 blocks from the Canal St/Algiers Ferry on the Algiers side.
We had a great time last year and Mrs RT and I would love to meet y'all. Don't be shy, ride the ferry and enjoy a hidden side of New Orleans.

Just found out this weekend that we MAY be in Baton Rouge Wed and able to slip down for part of the day (originally thought Wed was when we're driving in from Dallas, arriving late in the day). Let me re-confirm our schedule and our host's plans for the day. She has a four-year old - would it be appropriate to bring a child (if we promised to keep sober and be very watchful)?

I love my rose bowl with its deep colors! We all had a lot of stuff and I just got a good chuckle remembering 2forthefest evil half smoooooshed into the cargo area of your car with all the boxes. There's a great pic of that somewhere.

Thanks. I will. I just need to figure out how many and if I can bring them home myself or if it's best to have them shipped. If I have them shipped, I want at least one I can pick up since it will be our thank you gift for the friends we stay with down there.
