Wayyyyyyy off topic, but making a request:
One of our local towns is vying for the title of Hockeyville, Canada and they stand to win big towards a new arena if they can win.
Please go to http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/hockeyville/ Scroll down to the bottom left and select Kingsville and vote. You can vote more than once.
Thanks. :)

Geez, I dunno Saturn...
As an ex-Manitoban, I'm kind of partial to Pilot Mound (is that a great name for a town or what?), and I honestly don't think you can get a better "Hockeyville" than Wilcox, Saskatchewan, home of the famous Notre Dame Hounds! There's been a whole bunch of NHLers that have come out of that place. Hmmmm - gotta think about this one!

Well, I voted for them all! And you can vote as many times as you like...Pilot Mound is closest to the small towns where Ross and I grew up, and believe me, the hockey rink is the heart of the community.
Where did Pilot Mound's name come from? The 116 foot-high elevation of "The Old Mound" was a "pilot", a directional guide, to the early settlers as they traveled westward across the rolling prairies. The last stand of the Sioux Indians on British Territory took place on the slopes of the Mound in 1854, in a battle against the buffalo hunters.
And you thought Louisiana was flat! :D
