Their charcoal broiled oysters are the best food in the world. Looks like they opened in the Hilton. Anybody have any information? Hate finding parking over there and the drive back from Metairie with that crazy freeway entrance.

yes, Drago's is in the Hilton. If you're anywhere near CBD or FQ by all means go there. If you are near Metry go that location? Am I confused?!?!?

But is the Hilton version as good as the original? Or even close...I think what we are looking for is a report or review. Or just a few samples of those wonderful ersters.

Lunchtime here and it is still winter....Jazz Fest Please...Come get me now.

Yes I understand my post was confusing. I visit and stay in the CBD or the Quarter. Yes what Michelino said.

The Drago's in the Hilton is just as good as the one in Metairie. There are a few other restaurants around the city offering chargrilled oysters but they are not even in the same league!

its best to use a different signon for each personallity. then you can have whole threads between yourselves. right now the nice me is not speaking to the mean me, but the funny me is all over the place. :D

Drago's is on my must do this year. i've heard/read so much about it, but have never been. and the Metaire location is only a few blocks from our hotel.

if i was in the 1/4, i would try that location. i would expect the food to be comparable. the wait for a table might be longer during fest.

For those of you coming in for the FQF, Dragos usually has a booth set up in front of the Mint....
