Can kids (high school age) get in to the Rock n Bowl? I have a 17 year old son that is a huge Bonerama fan and we are going to the fest on May 2 and 3 and they are playing the fest on the 1st. Thought about trying to see them at Rock n Bowl on Friday night? I have never been and would love to go. Help?

I'm not sure if they have a time limit, but you can always call and ask.

I've seen plenty of teenagers in there.

In fact, minors are allowed if accompanied by an adult - at all times. (EG. you can't drop 'em off for a show and pick them up later). Rock n' Bowl is actually pretty darned cool that way.

My son (now almost 20) had the time of his life at JF's 2003-2005 AND got backstage at the fest for Bonerama and scored an all-stages pass that day. Talk about inflated ego! (Of course, it was due to my friends in low places that got him back there in the first place, but I let him lord it over me because I had never been backstage in 9 years of festing and he got backstage his first year.) NOLA music, esp. brass and funk, has been a constant bonding opportunity for us during his teenage years, when few others existed.
