Hey Now, just a quick note to let you know that I wont make it up to Jackson tomorrow for the Radiators/Spearhead shows this weekend. Dad wasnt feeling to hot for the last couple days, so he went into the doctor, who found that he had a lot of fluid on his lungs, and stuck him in the hospital...... I was hoping to see you kids (and meet the lovely Natalie) but feel I need to be with family. If you make it to the show, say hi to Camille and Reggie for me, and have a few cold ones!!! Your Friend, Matthew

Sorry Matthew, even though we have never met, but I guess when you reach the age that equal numbers of people in the obits are younger than you as older it makes you face mortality a little more directly. Hope your dad recovers fine and spends many more years with you. God Bless.

Oh my, it's snowing and blowing like crazy, all of our roads are closed but Teton Pass over to Jackson isn't, concert is still going to be outside (!!) Rads at 5, Spearhead at 7, fireworks at 9, we're still fence sitting . . .

A heartfelt thank you from myself and my family to you all, for the thoughts and prayers.... I have been at the hospital for the past several days, my dads doctors have moved him from intensive care, and feel that he will make a full recovery. His health has been up and down for the past year or so, and times like this remind me how lucky I am to have the amazing family that I do.
I am looking forward to Fest more than ever this year, as I feel that the music and magic that Jazzfest embodies will be just what I need. Its been a long last couple of days, so seeing you all in person will be wonderful. Thanks again, Matthew

Matthew I am glad your Dad is doing better I know how long the days can seem when a loved one is in the hospital.
I am leaving on thursday to fly down to Atlanta to help my brother move my mother into a hospice facility. It is time to focus on the quality of life with the time she has left. I am truly grateful to be able to share some of that time with her.
