Doesn't do too much for me either - nothing really distinguishable in it.

My first thought is the colors don't go with the subject matter. I was thinking it would have BRIGHT, primary colors....

Yea I'd agree with that.

On the same subject, I hope the official fest shirts are less busy than they have been in recent years. I have some JF shirts I love but recently there has been to much on them for my tastes.

Ummm....no thanks. The artist's description/inspiration is interesting, but I don't like wearing clothes that I have explain.

I think the only official JF shirt I've ever bought was from my first Fest in '95. Although the design is fine, I never wear it and would not likely buy another unless they get far, far less busy as you note, because the size of the decal makes the shirt uncomfortable to wear--especially in warmer weather. The few times I have worn the one JF shirt I own, I've felt like I was wearing one of those heavy things they make you wear on your torso when you get x-rays. I don't understand how people can continue to buy and wear them.

I love my gator shirt!
This one doesn't really "float my boat"....

Well, my preference is the food-related shirts (and the gators) - but I like this one . . . I'll definitely be getting one, as I wear a lot of purples and greens in any case. :)

So almarco should be by in 3....2....1.....to say that they should have an olive shirt....:p

My question is: When are they going to make a guy's shirt again?
The color scheme for this year and last seem decidedly feminine, IMHO. I love my shirt from '06

I'm not to crazy about this one, think I'll pass. I love my cafe au lait one, and my gators, and my very favorite is the one with the roses in the back ground.

It's not one of my very favorites, but I'll get it (it'll be my 11th). I think it's all right. At least it has the pocket, unlike the guitars shirt. And it doesn't mix earth and non-earth tones, like the accordions and the parasol shirts did. And they haven't broken that psychological price barrier of $50. Yet.
