Should be a fine show!
I'm going to a play on Thursday, won't be able to make it.
I was just in Columbus on FRi. 3-21 for Los Lobos and Old School Freight Train @ The Palace Theater. Great show! Were you there or at Cowboy Junkies?
Going to see Sonny Landreth on 3-28.
Roger McGuinn & Jorma Kaukenon on Sunday, 3-30.

Sissy...real life interfered with those shows for me. I hope they were good ones and that you enjoyed your time in Cbus.

Hi, S_L_F!
Sonny Landreth's show was captivating! Short and sweet, though. It was kind of a deadass crowd.
I'm sure they enjoyed Sonny, but the interplay between the band and the fans was missing. A key element at live shows, IMO. As a result, they only played an 80 minute set.
And, I am not criticizing Sonny Landreth. He packed it all in that set, but it sure wasn't like being at the Rock 'N Bowl.
Sonny spent a lot of time after the show talking to the fans and signing CDs and such. Zydekitten went over to the swag booth with me after the show. She said, "I was hoping you'd play Congo Square"
Sonny replied, "I wish you would've called it out."
And I chimed in," We were afraid of waking everyone up!":)
Sonny smiled and said he understood about it being a different culture and all.
What a great band! I'm not a big fan of trios, but these guys belong in the Pantehon, for sure.
How was Tab Benoit?

Bummer, you missed a good show I'm sure. Tab was rockin in Cleveland! He did a great You Put a Spell On Me which I'd never heard him play before.
