Hey Ya'll, as I was doing inventory on raffle prizes today, I was thinking about the appies we are going to have for the drawing.
I would like a rough count of folks who may attend the raffle drawing at Chez Jamn (no firm committment needed.).

You are so kind and generous to host the raffle drawing, Jenn. Thank you for opening your home to us. Due to unforeseen changes in my flights, I won't be able to be there. Sure to be a most enjoyable time, I was so looking forward to it! :(
I hope the raffle is a huge success! :)
I'll likely be there (we'll see what I say once the in-store schedule comes out).

Fyi, a cab ride from chezrooney to frenchmen was $11 plus tip last weekend. I'm thinking about $13 or 14 from the quarter.

As much as we would like to be there, I just don't know. With R&B the night before and IAC that night, we might need some down time.
If the 2 nights with Shorty this past weekend was any indication, we'll need all the downtime we can get to survive 10 days of fest.

With all the wine y'all supplied last year, mommy and daddy should not need to provide any ;) i am sure if everyone brings a bottle we should be in good shape (at the start at least :eek: )

OH I just LOVE YOU! I'm all set for my two Blue Jay's games this weekend... got my Blue Jays hat and my ol' Blue Jay's spring training 2001 tee shirt all set to go... (I don't fit into my favorite Jay's shirt... well I do, but it's sort of like sausage casing)... now I'm praying that Gregg Zaun's knee will be doing okay and he'll be catching so I can ... um.. observe him... ahem... and maybe Matt Stair's and Frank Thomas will hit a couple home runs... of course, after the game today, I'm hoping the cooler Philly air will perk them up a bit, maybe let them think they'll play better if they are closer to Canada... LOL... and I'm psyched that I get to sing O Canada. No one seemed to appreciate it when I sang it in the bar last night, for some reason. Sheesh... They were all giving me grief for wearing my Jay's shirt, too. These men, they just don't understand that you can like a team because they have such cute uniforms with my initial on 'em!

Well, hell, that's due to you, Saturn, Ross, and VWgal, and a couple other of my most favourite people who aren't on this bored. :) My kids laugh when I tell them I want a Maple Leaf tattoo... I even designed it. What they don't get is at my age, the colouring of the fall Maple Leaf sort of is where I am... I find it extremely symbolic... but that's an art major for ya! LOL
The Jays kicked butt tonight! See, that cooler night time 64 degree weather helped!

I was concerned that he hadn't played the last several games... thought maybe he was aching and healing a bit, like Zaun was doing, but Bastian's MLB blog said Matt was at batting practice and hitting several homers... so I sure hope he plays in Philly. I'd love for him and Zaun to sign my hat, but I'm not holding my breath! LOL
So how's your hair? I was at the hair dresser yesterday, too!
