Being a dog lover myself, I was wondering how many other TH's have pooches. I know I & Hebejamin have Lil Girl - does anyone else have a favorite mutt? If you do, post 'em here! Here's my Samantha (and no, she isn't spoiled!) :D

this is our other dog Buster. technically he's Jim's daughter's dog, but he lives with us.
that is Buster's late mother in the lower right hand corner, Ginger.
She was spayed when Jim got her, yet gave birth to 9 puppies just a few weeks later.
her former owners lied so they didnt have to pay exta for her annual shots (city law).
that was a lot of puppie poop for many weeks, but it was a great experience. :D

Here's my Katrina rescue. Found him wandering a canal, looking for food. He's such a sweetie! A bit homely, but I love him. The people up here don't "get him" and are always asking what breed he is, etc. To be honest, I'm not sure myself, but he needed a home.

You are lucky to live in an area like that - beautiful. And it's only minutes from NOLA - amazing how you can get just a little ways out of the city and you're in da bayou.:)

Jack and Bert the Beagle - taken a couple of years ago. These days Bert is fatter and poor old Jack (our saved from the needle girl) has a few more war wounds. Love 'em both to bits!

I have two cat grandkitties. My son and daughter in law have Lucy, who is black and white and looks sorta like Natalie's Katrina kitty, and he rescued Samson, who was abandoned at Fort Dix back in October. He got Sam to come over to the truck by offering him half and half from those little take out cups they come in... and Sam tore up the truck pretty good, but he was tiny and skinny and JT took Sam to the vet the next day. He's sort of crazed but finally seems to be settling down a bit.

my cat lives with her grandma. she kept her while i was moving a few years ago, and kept coming up with reasons for me not to take the cat when i visited. i gave up and let her keep her.

Well, then I suck at being a kitty grandma, but I shine at being Abbie's memere! That child will have no fear of the paparazzi considering the hundreds of photos that I take of her each month.
Lucy, my eldest grandkitty does have her very own myspace page. Samson, on the other hand, hides from everyone until he can attack poor Lucy.
