I buy several (or more than several) for myself and for hubby every year, so I am overflowing dresser drawers.

Plus -- posters, mousepads, satchels, etc. etc. etc.

Let's see--some from the awful T-shirt places in the Quarter, some from Swampfest, many from art4now, some Fest t-shirts, several PDKK shirts and a couple T-head shirts. An obsession.

Funny, I was just recently thinking of doing an inventory before seeing this thread. My guess is in the neighborhood of 50-60, as I've been to 20 Fests and almost always come home with several t-shirts. Among my favorites:

-- the Gospel Tent t-shirts that are sold by women sitting in the front row of the tent;

-- my Floribama Lounge t-shirt, obtained after people on my flight told my buddy and me about the place and we drove to Pensicola to check it out;

-- official JazzFest shirts for every year since 1988.

Wow, I didn't even think of How-ah-yas. I have all of those except the first 3. I have a bunch of PDKK shirts too, but I think of those as Miami shirts. ;)

Thanks for not asking how many still fit.

I have a few hats too. Pat O's, Central Grocery (of course), Levon Helm's New Orleans Cafe, One FQF, One "Make it Funky", Seven Jazz Fests Hats. One very old Louisiana Crawfish Hat from my first trip to Bourbon.

I still mourn for my teal 1994 25th Anniversary Jazz Fest Hat that I left on the Jazz Fest Express during the 2001 Fest.

Let's see, I have 4 Fest shirts, a Chris Joseph lagniappe from '06, a beautiful Central Grocery shirt with a Muff on the back, a couple of PDKs, and maybe one more Katrina related Rebirth on Tour shirt. Oh yeah, the Zule Diamond Cutter from last year and my Zephyrs jersey!
Sure wish the Fest shirts were better made! Hanes Beefy Ts, Festy Dave, Hanes Beefy Ts! I want them to last forever!
Related question. How often do you wear t-shirts, and do you still buy them like you used to?

I have a JF shirt from each year since 1992. I even arranged to get shirts from the two years that I missed. One of my favorites is from 2005, a purple shirt, and when I saw people wearing it at JF 2006 I was kicking myself for missing that year....anyway I got lucky and found one on eBay....it's XXL and even a little big on me, but I was ecstatic and of course I wear it. I wear my JF tee shirts so often that I feel a little funny, like some people are gonna think that's all I'm into! It's almost the truth;) And then there's my OTHER New Orleans shirts. I like both of the J&M Music (Cosimo Matassa) shirts and wear them often. I have shirts that I have collected over the years, and some of them are way too snug on me.....so I know it's time to lose some weight, because I'm not junking the shirts just yet. Sadly, a couple of them are JF shirts, the 1993 shirt and the 25th anniversary (1994) tank top.:( But, I LOVE my New Orleans shirts. That's my first stop when I walk through the gates at fest.

I have a couple of Jazz Fest shirts and 3 or 4 WWOZ shirts. One of them isn't a t-shirt, though. Does it still count? It's a collared, short-sleeve white-on-white with a big design on the back. It says "MUSIC TO THE BONE!"

Yeah, I have many shirts that have lasted longer than fest shirts. they tend to quickly become 'tent-shaped', and then develop tiny holes. Honestly not crazy about the designs most years also. oh well.

I have an official T every year since 1992 although I missed 3 of those years. Favs are '92,93'94,96 tie dyed tanks although they are getting frayed. Best are accordian HowRya, purple trumpet '98 tie dye- had a trumpet player in a Philly bar offer me $100 for it and i wouldn't part wid it. I pick up some old ones from Cree, a consignment shop womanwho hits a brunch every year with a few on her rack.Love the JF shirt. Friends think I'm nuts!

Me too - I think they copulate in the back of the closet. We have zillions.

my closet seems to have shrunk many of mine.

the official JF shirts are too hot to wear in NOLA.
except my 1990 tank which might fit Natalie.
i have a few bootleg JF shirts i love - one is close to dissengration.
the BF keeps stealing my PDKK shirts.
i have sugar bowl, final four, saints stuff, & tourist/MG shirts from the french market. i think i still have my bourbon st shirt and in a drawer, my college roommates brought back from MG one year. that would be my 1st shirt.
i own no bar/restaurant shirts. but if i see a cool one at the thrift store, i'm game.

i havent purchased any NOLA/PDKK related shirts in over 5 years. thus i have no TH. and probably wont. i just dont wear them.
i used to collect the bandanas, but quit after 10 years. occassionally buy one if its really cool. BF steals those too.
i buy a pair of earrings every fest visit. maybe at fest, maybe at the market, maybe from a little hippie girl on the levee - i have those on today.

Steve has JF t-shirts & tank tops not to mention the various general city shirts. I have a few JF t-shirts, 4 denim shirts, 1 denim jacket. Someday if they make the women's tank tops in real Women's sizes, i'll add one. Then of course there are posters, fridge magnets & various tchotchkies.

Would be happy to purchase a Rosetree shirt if they appear!!! ;)

I've never counted them. For a long time I purchased the limited edition every year starting in about '91 or '92. I gave up this practice sometime and just picked a favorite shirt. The last few years I haven't bought one at the fest. However, I have also picked up many on e-bay including lots of staff and stage, etc. shirts. I don't have one for every year since I've been going, but some years I have several different shirts, and I also have a few from before my time. I would guess I have thirty or so.
