Seems like CJ always plays fitzgerald's on the same day as the St Pattys parade. After celebrating all day downtown, & dancing to Irish music, I'll be in no shape to make to to Fitzgeralds. Y'all have fun!

I just wanted to see who was going to CJ tomorrow. It looks like my wife will be out with friends and my daughter is having a party so I need to get out of the house for a few hours. What a better place then Fitzgeralds with CJ.
I would love to meet some chicago threadheads before fest. Is anyone meeting at a certain time or place in Fitgeralds. How will I know ya?

Well it is Saturday night and I am obviously not at FitzGeralds. Ended up staying home with the kids. I almost always catch CJ when he is playing there. Always puts on a hell of a show. But you know what, we didnt watch tv, no video games, worked on a PUZZLE, had popcorn AND ice cream. The kids are 14 and 10 and play Guitar Hero. We listened to Black Sabbath Paranoid AND Deep Purple Machine Head...Along with the Dirty Dozen Brass Band among others. My baby is next to me snoring... We missed the show but I had such a good time it was all good. Hope the rest of you had as good of a Saturday Night.... The 10 year old wanted to know if Anders Osbourne was related to Ozzy :)

Sorry to have missed CJ - I love Fitz's. But we had a grand time - marched in the parade and went to the Abbey Pub after. Heard a good Celtic rock band called the Sandcarvers. And had a few Harps.

A friend of mine is a bartender at the Abbey. He also books the entertainment in the bar area. I bet it was rocking on Sat.
