I have posted here previously re: my traveling solo this year. I have decided to go ahead with it and am pretty damn stoked!!
I have found a couch to crash on renting from 2 college students in NOLA! I am on a big time budget but that's okay.:)
I can't wait to see all of you there! I am going the 2nd weekend because Stevie Wonder called and said he won't go on stage unless I'm in the audience!

that's great to hear! you'll have a blast. i started going to festival alone with this group starting with Crawfish Fest last year. i love it. you're never really alone...you only need one introduction and booommmm....friends galore!

Nikki, by participating here, you are now a threadhead. Once the schedule comes out, we (the folks on this board) will pick a time to meetup daily so that we can see what we look like, and to renew friendships from previous jazzfests.

Nikki, you'll find that relationships developed here transcend the actual days of JF. I've found lasting friendships from "meeting" folks on this board, and then meeting them in actuality at the festival. Threadheads, including you, are good people, and we share fun and good karma.
